I love reading. I love reading books. Simple, right?
I love fiction. I especially love mystery/crime/thriller/suspense novels.
But there are books I will not consider for review purposes:
In all cases, either the book genre isn’t a good fit for me or it isn’t a good fit for this blog.
I review books through TLC Book Tours and through sources like NetGalley. I also consider book review requests. I do not, however, accept self-published books for review.
That being said, if you are interested in sending me a review copy of a book, please send a query letter to me at Claudiasparks444 (at) yahoo (dot) com.
If I accept your book for consideration (either formatted for Kindle or a print version) it’s best to know a few things:
• If I don’t like the book or cannot finish it, I will most likely refrain from reviewing it.
• If I do review it, my review will be honest. Accepting a review copy does not ensure that I will give a positive review, but I can assure you I will write the review respectfully.
• I will not commit to a time frame for a review. I have a lot of books to review at any given time. I have other commitments: to my other blog where I post 7 days a week, to my work in the theater, and to my family. But I will do my best to review the book in a timely manner,
• When I do write the review, it will be accompanied by a synopsis and a short author biography. I will do my best to tweet the review on the twitter account for this blog.
I will disclose on every review where I got the book (publisher, NetGalley, author, library, bookstore, etc.)
Because I am passionate about reading, I review books because I want to share those books with others. I am not compensated in any way for my reviews.
